It has been a pleasure to work with Patrick Delhaye, of Calliope Interpreters, for the 3rd Clean Pacific Roundtable, and with a team that has been so organized, aware, and capable in all aspects of preparing and delivering these sessions. Having a partner that was so qualified and experienced in all aspects of delivering an event was a privilege. Over the last two complicated years, we have had to radically change the way we organise our scientific and assembly meetings. Calliope-Interpreters and Claudia Ricci have proved indispensable in making this possible.

We had already worked with Claudia for many years, and had grown accustomed to her outstanding interpretation services and expertise in medical and scientific translation. In addition, she has now developed a full service for managing online conferences and meetings: she provides the interpretation platform, sends out invitations in advance and hosts the online meeting. This all-inclusive package is competitive and - even more importantly - impeccable.

Working on this ambitious project with Verónica Pérez Guarnieri, from Calliope-Interpreters, was an incredible experience. The World Live Neurosurgery Conference was held in a hybrid format from 20 to 22 October 2021: neurosurgeons in Buenos Aires, Shanghai and Istanbul broadcast live from the operating theatre to a physical audience of academics, their words interpreted remotely by teams of interpreters in Berlin and Buenos Aires to cater for the different time zones. Verónica not only recruited specialised teams of interpreters, many of them also qualified medical doctors, but also coordinated the highly complex interpreting arrangements. The Calliope-Interpreters team was highly professional and always willing to go the extra mile, for example if a live surgery took longer than scheduled. We are hugely grateful to Verónica and her team for their consummate professionalism, expertise and flexibility.

We had the pleasure to collaborate with Maya de Wit on the 3rd Swiss Conference on Barrier-free Communication in spring 2020. Due to the coronavirus pandemic, this conference transitioned from an in-person to a virtual event within a very short period of time. Making the event as accessible as possible to people with hearing and/or visual disabilities was imperative to us. Even before contacting Maya, it was very clear to us that she is internationally recognised as one of the leading professionals in her field. Maya’s consulting services were absolutely crucial in our pre-event planning. She believed in our event from day one, shared contagious enthusiasm and became a true asset to our organising team. Most importantly, all decisions taken under her guidance (i.e. virtual event management tool, live captioning specialists, sign language provision, among others) proved totally successful. Furthermore, Maya’s sign language interpretation and video editing services were timely, transparent and, ultimately, spot on. We definitely owe our event's success to Maya’s collaboration and, therefore, we very much look forward to working with her again in the future.

For our webinar on Wednesday 4 November, thanks to a fantastic team from Calliope-Interpreters, we were able to offer simultaneous interpretation to our members and other webinar participants. The professional service provided by Claudia Ricci and her team in the run-up to the event exceeded our expectations, and the result during the webinar itself was excellent. It was largely thanks to Calliope-Interpreters that our event was such a success and I would have no hesitation in recommending them to other companies.

Let me thank you and your interpreters for your excellent work during the Net2phone 2021 Global Kick-off Meeting. It was the first time we had held such a big event virtually with nine different breakout sessions, which made us very nervous. The professionalism, warmth and patience with which you helped and offered recommendations and guidance on how best to use our IT tools to bridge the language gap with remote interpretation in the weeks before the event and during the event itself contributed enormously to its success.

The Organizing Committee of the UIA 2017 Seoul World Architects Congress expresses its sincere thanks to Calliope and Ms. Danielle Gree for the smooth management and excellent quality of your simultaneous interpretation. Over eight full days, you provided flawless and engaged interpretation into and out of English, French, Spanish, Russian and Korean, which was widely praised by the 10,000 architects present, who were from 100 different countries. As President of the Congress, it was my pleasure to work with your team and I hope to have the opportunity to collaborate with you and Calliope again in the future.

ELIT Language Services - with Calliope member Haris Ghinos at the helm - is a very professional agency with a big network, which over the years was able to provide me with interpreters in any location and any language asked for, many of them even last minute. I could not think of many agencies organizing a French interpreter coming from Paris to Bergen, Norway on the same day the request was made… The interpreters were always good: reliable, knowledgeable and very capable.

I had the opportunity to work with Calliope when I was organising a convention for 900 people at the Cirque d’Hiver in Paris. First, communication with my Calliope representative was excellent in the run-up to the event. On behalf of the organizing team of the 2016 South American Business Forum (SABF), I should like to say how delighted we were with the results achieved at this, our most recent event. The National Organising Committee wishes to say thank you for your help this past summer with interpretation services during the FIFA Women’s World Cup Canada 2015. Your team provided these professional services over the course of the 30-day final competition in six cities across Canada.

Under a tight timeline, you were instrumental in building a team of interpreters for our press conferences in June and July. The timelines were equally tight beyond the group stage when schedules were dependent on which nations won which game. Regardless, your interpreters were always present, providing our local media and international audience with services from the visiting nation’s language into English.

Once again, it was a pleasure working together during the FIFA Women’s World Cup Canada 2015.
