"From 2000 and until today, I have been contracted to organise or co-organise interpreter services for over 50 meetings of Committees of the UN-FAO/WHO Codex Alimentarius Commission hosted or co-hosted in many countries, including Argentina, Australia, China, Germany, Guatemala, India, Indonesia, Jamaica, Morocco, New Zealand, Norway, Philippines, Thailand, Uganda and the United States of America.

Established over 50 years ago jointly by the Food and Agriculture Organisation and the World Health Organisation of the United Nations, the UN-FAO/WHO Codex Alimentarius Commission prepares food standards aimed at protecting the health of consumers worldwide and ensuring fair practices in the global food trade.

These food standards generally relate to food safety and international trade regulation and serve as the basis for rulings of the World Trade Organisation (WTO)."

A few noteworthy projects

• Over a period of 8 months, on behalf of a law firm conducting an international inquiry, I provided teams of interpreters to cover Chinese, Indonesian, Malay, Thai, English and German for over 130 meetings in 6 countries of Asia, including all pre- and post-assignment administration, and in many cases with less than 24 hours’ notice.
• I regularly have the privilege of serving the Government of France as interpreter for official visits and meetings, most recently during the official visit of Minister Kader Arif to Australia and New Zealand.
• I have provided interpretation for most meetings of the Board of Directors throughout the rollout of a major greenfield nickel mining project in New Caledonia from 2006 until today.
