Interpreting for the Danish EU Presidency
Linda Hoffmeyer, who manages interpretation for AdHoc in Copenhagen and who is also Calliope member for the Nordic countries, has been entrusted with organizing the interpreting for a substantial number of conferences that will take place during the first 6 months of the Danish EU Presidency from the 1st of January to the 31st of June this year.
It will be up to Linda to organize and field teams of interpreters for meetings of the Danish Parliament, including the COSAC meeting, a high-profile event which will require interpretation in all 23 official EU languages and which is scheduled to take place in Copenhagen from the 23rd to the 24th of April 2012. She will also be supplying interpreter teams for high-level meetings of the Foreign Ministry and the Ministry of Social Affairs and Integration as well as for many others taking place over the same period.
Calliope Interpreters, a global network of consultant interpreters, is particularly pleased to be able to add the Danish EU Presidency to both the earlier Irish and Portuguese EU Presidencies for which it was contracted to supply interpretation services.
